In honor of the work of Planned Parenthood founder Margaret Sanger, Wonder Women The Musical has announced it will donate a portion of it’s profits from the Chicago Musical Theater Festival appearances in February to the nonprofit organization which provides health care and sex education to millions worldwide. Sanger’s writings and lifelong crusade to empower and educate women about their bodies was a cornerstone in the creation of Wonder Woman. Her role in the creation of Wonder Woman is detailed in several songs from the show including Woman Rebel, What Every Girl Should Know and Private Parts.
